About Age Calculator

Recruitment notices for SSC, UPSC, banking, railway and state exams set age limits "as on" a particular cut-off date, and getting it wrong by a few days can mean an invalid application. This calculator lets you set both your date of birth and the reference date, then shows your exact completed age in years, months and days.

The calculation counts complete years first, then complete months, then the remaining days — the same way ages are written in official documents. When the day of the month has not yet been reached, it borrows the correct number of days from the previous month, so results stay accurate across 28, 29, 30 and 31-day months and leap years.

You also get your age as total months, weeks and days, which is handy for baby milestones, pet ages and fun facts for birthday posts. The next birthday card shows the date, the weekday and how many days are left, along with the age you will be turning.

People born on 29 February celebrate on 28 February in non-leap years here, which is the common convention. If your organisation uses 1 March instead, the countdown will simply be one day shorter.
