AI video models generate short clips. Veo, Kling and most others cap a single generation at a handful of seconds, so a two-minute story has to be planned as fifteen to twenty separate shots. Doing that by hand is slow and error prone: you lose your place, break sentences in odd spots, and end up with one scene that has four lines of narration and another that has three words.

This splitter does the counting for you. It reads your story, respects sentence boundaries — including the Hindi danda (।) — and packs each scene with roughly as many words as a narrator can comfortably speak in the clip length you chose. The default assumption is about two and a half words per second, which matches an unhurried storytelling pace in both Hindi and English.

Because the split is sentence aware, a scene never ends mid-thought unless a single sentence is genuinely too long for the clip; in that case it is divided at a word boundary instead. The output is a numbered shot list, which is exactly what you need before writing prompts: one scene equals one generation.
